Common questions

My apps did not unlock when I hit my goal

Threshld reads your progress from Apple Health, so it needs permission to see it. Open the Health app, then Sharing → Apps and Services → Threshld, and confirm steps, walking and running distance, active energy, and dietary energy are all allowed. Health writes some of these in batches, so a fitness goal can take a few minutes to register after you finish.

Nothing locked at all

Locking uses Apple's Screen Time. If you declined that permission during setup, Threshld cannot restrict anything. Go to Settings → Screen Time and make sure Threshld still has access, then pick your apps again in the app.

I paid for Pro but do not have it

Open Threshld, go to the More tab → Settings, and tap Restore purchases. That asks the App Store to re-check what your Apple ID owns. If Pro still does not appear, email us with the Apple ID email you purchased under.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Apple handles subscriptions, so cancellation happens in your Apple account rather than inside Threshld. Settings → Manage Subscription in the app takes you straight there, or go to apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Cancelling stops the renewal; you keep Pro until the period you already paid for runs out.

What does Pro actually add?

Recurring schedules that fire on their own, up to eight goals stacked in a single day, no cap on how many apps you lock, and starting pacts with friends. The free plan keeps one goal and three apps, with no time limit and no trial to forget about — and anyone can join a pact.

Can I get out of a lock early?

Yes. Every lock has an honest way out — no hidden timer, no penalty screen. Stopping early is recorded in your own stats as information, not judgement, so your reports stay true.

Privacy

Threshld has no servers. Your goals, health data, and app selections stay on your iPhone. The one exception is a pact you start or join: a summary of your day goes through your own iCloud to the people in it, never anything you typed, and Threshld never sees it. The full policy is at the privacy policy page.
